Canada has a carbon tax. Something that will never work.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... To make them energy efficient to a degree in the winter, but to comfortably cool their home

Borador- labrador collie mix

Image
Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. And, we became automatic at it, to bring him out in the morning ( he w

Festival Des Rameurs Petit Rocher, NB

22 miles across the bay, rowing in a boat. Record for the men, across the Bay Chaleur, 2 hrs and 36 minutes in 1996 by a Intermarche sponsered mens team. Record for the women, 3 hours, by Roys Trucking womens team who sponsored, was a close to the mens time as well. Here is a link to the competitors, to see the teams involved in this years race.  https://www.festivaldesrameurs.net/copie-de-%C3%A9quipes-2022 It is a nice week, of food, festivities, music, and games. If you are close to the North Shore of New Brunswick, stop in while you can, or next year get your Boat in and your team practiced up for the race! I would go in also to row if need be if I am not busy lol... They start from Bonaventure, Quebec, until arriving at the Wharf in Petit Rocher, NB.  I wonder who could post better times than that... aha! Till next time...

They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago. When that dog come out, they were selling beer like crazy. And it helped cement Bud Lit

Will check out Part 5 sometime this week.

Part 5 is saved, on a drive, put away for a better day. I will go check, to see, if the memory stick is still in good shape, that it all reads well. Sometimes, magnetic storage or whatever we call it, may corrupt over time due to temperature, EMF interference, or water damage, connection problems, what not... So, It would be good for me to check it over. Nevertheless, it does not bode well for its production. As I have spoken here, the last 8 years, has been a real tough time economically for myself personally. I did not, save oodles of cash, to produce this book. The cash, went elsewhere, a new sofa, repairs to this, repairs to that, new tires which cost 1000 dollars for other family members that I have to pay, the list, goes on and on... I had no raises in the last 4 years. Cost of living has gone up in Canada, due to the high printing of money by the federal government. If Part 5 was to come out, I would have had to do awfully well, as placing near 12 000 to my bankrupt publisher f
