The Supermarket Guy 5 passes a major milestone!

The Supermarket Guy 5 passes a major milestone. Over 200 pages in 8.5 by 5.5 inch format. This means that I am nearly done- But do not want to fluff it up too much. Need a good, steady hand at the ending. It requires much of the same brand of humor in the first 4 novels. No premise to speed it up too much!

Yes, I could publish it today. After proofreading it, spellcheck, editing, and what not. But, a masterpiece is a masterpiece. It will probably be ready in the fall of 2018, unless time comes more rather quickly than at a costly rate.

Last fall, it could have been done. Near Christmas 2017. I had no or little ambition to complete it. I felt as if things were falling apart for me on the book front. Great ratings, winner of a book contest, for Part 4, but still, no apparent interest from the masses for to read my stories.

Maybe this will be the same. Still throwing mass out there, hoping that something will take holt. After this book, we will see. I need to take a long break after this one. I will be writing in the future, but it will be of the non fiction side of life. I have a few ideas on some real books. Help books.

So Part 6 of the Supermarket Guy will be on the shelf, given a miracle, for a long, long time. Who knows. Maybe Part 5 can be the spark that is needed from the difibulator to get the old heart pumping again. Maybe.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
